I grew up on a ranch in eastern Wyoming, and moved to western South Dakota in the summer of 2013 when I married my wonderful farmer/rancher husband. Today we work together raising cattle, hogs and crops. On the side I work as a freelance writer for multiple regional, national and international livestock publications, and am also a photographer. You will rarely find me without my camera, dachshund, cup of coffee and a variety of other animals nearby.
I have a passion for agriculture and feel it's important to provide accurate information about ranching, farming, and all the other aspects of our industry. This blog covers the highs and lows of raising cattle, hogs and crops, all from the perspective of someone who lives it. I genuinely love what I do, and find joy in sharing that love with people whenever possible.
It's a fast paced life full of fun and exciting things, balanced with God and family, and I appreciate you stopping by to read about it. If you have any questions after reading a post, or in general, please email me at doublehphoto@live.com, and I'll do my best to answer them!
